Psychotherapy is a collaborative process in which we explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences in a safe and non-judgmental space. It can help you understand patterns, heal emotional wounds, and move toward greater clarity and self-compassion.

It’s normal to feel nervous. Therapy is a space where you can be yourself, speak freely, and be met with warmth and understanding. We’ll go at your pace, and you don’t need to have all the answers.

That’s okay. Many people feel unsure at first. I offer a free 15-minute phone call so you can ask questions and see if it feels like a good fit.

That’s okay. Starting therapy is a brave step. I’m here to walk alongside you, gently and respectfully, as you find your way.

There’s no fixed number. Some clients come for a few months, others for longer. We’ll revisit your goals together and adjust as needed.

Sessions are 50 minutes. Weekly therapy is common, but we’ll find a rhythm that feels supportive for you.

Your first session is a welcoming space to begin exploring what brings you to therapy and what you hope for. There’s no pressure to share everything at once – we go at your pace.

We’ll talk about what’s been feeling difficult, what you’d like support with, and I’ll explain how I work using a blend of approaches:

  • Psychodynamic Therapy

If it feels right for you, we may begin to gently explore how past experiences and relationships shape your current patterns. This isn’t about digging into everything at once – it’s about noticing what feels familiar, and beginning to understand why.

  • Person-Centred Therapy

I’ll offer a warm, non-judgmental space where you’re deeply heard and accepted. You lead the way, and I’ll follow with empathy and care, helping you reconnect with your inner strength and sense of self.

  • Rewind Technique

If you’re seeking trauma support, I may introduce the Rewind Technique – a gentle, non-intrusive method that helps reduce emotional distress without needing to talk through painful memories in detail.

The first session is about building trust, answering any questions you have, and making sure you feel safe and supported. You’re welcome to share as much or as little as feels comfortable – this is your space, and I’m here to walk alongside you.

We begin gently. The first session is a chance for you to share what’s bringing you to therapy, ask questions, and get a feel for how I work. There’s no pressure to go deep – just space to begin.

No preparation is needed. Just come as you are. You’re welcome to bring notes or thoughts if that helps, but it’s not expected.

Absolutely. Therapy is your space, and you’re free to pause or end whenever you choose. We we’ll talk through it together to ensure a thoughtful transition.

Yes. Everything you share is held in confidence, with a few legal exceptions (which I’ll explain clearly before we begin). Your privacy and safety are deeply respected.

Psychodynamic Therapy

This approach gently explores how past experiences – especially early relationships – shape your present patterns, emotions, and beliefs. Together, we uncover unconscious dynamics that may be holding you back, creating space for deeper self-understanding and lasting change.

Person-Centred Therapy

Rooted in empathy, acceptance, and authenticity, this approach places you at the heart of the healing process. I offer a warm, non-judgmental space where you can explore your feelings freely and reconnect with your inner wisdom. It’s about empowering you to grow in your own way, at your own pace.

Rewind Technique

A gentle, non-intrusive method for processing trauma.  The Rewind Technique allows you to revisit distressing memories in a safe, controlled way—without needing to talk through the details, helping reduce emotional intensity and restore a sense of calm and control.

Each therapy is offered with care, collaboration, and a deep respect for your journey. You’re not alone-healing begins with feeling safe, seen, and supported.

I’m a qualified and accredited psychodynamic psychotherapist with the British Psychoanalytic Council, and I’ve worked with clients across a range of emotional and relational challenges. My work is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and respect.

Therapy is deeply personal. I offer a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation, allowing you to get a feel for how I work and ask any questions you may have. If it’s not the right fit, I’ll help you find someone who is.

My standard fee is £60-£80 per session, and I offer a limited number of reduced-rate spaces for those in financial need. Please feel free to ask.
